About Anni Thorn — boilerplate
Anni Thorn (b. 1970) is a Swedish contemporary abstract artist. From her studios in Åre, Jämtland, and on her olive farm in Álora, Málaga, she paints abstract worlds of colour, drawn from the contrasts of mountain and Mediterranean light. A designer by trade, she works in mixed media and acrylics, with her premium collection painted on Leonardo Da Vinci canvas with the frequent use of 22-carat Swiss gold. Since her debut in 2019 she has exhibited across Europe and the USA — from the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris and Art Monaco to the New York Art Expo — and is represented by Svenska Konstgalleriet. Her cornerstone work Big Bang (mixed media, 190 × 150 cm) leads her collection Portraits of Souls.
