Anni Thorn (b. 1970) is a Swedish contemporary abstract artist. Surrounded
by snow, northern lights, midnight sun, mountains and wilderness in her home
town of Åre, she paints abstract worlds of colour, drawn from the contrasts
of mountain and Mediterranean light. A designer by trade, she works in mixed
media and acrylics, with her premium collection painted on Leonardo Da Vinci
canvas with the frequent use of 22-carat Swiss gold.

Since her debut under the name Anni Thorn in 2019 she has held exhibitions
across Europe and the USA — from Newark and Stockholm to the Carrousel du
Louvre in Paris, Art Monaco and the New York Art Expo. Since 2020 she is
represented by Svenska Konstgalleriet and gallery owner Mikaela Himmelström.
Her pieces are held by private and corporate collectors across Europe and
the USA. She divides her time between a studio on her olive farm in Álora,
Málaga, and Åre in Jämtland, Sweden.

Her cornerstone work "Big Bang" (mixed media, 190 × 150 cm) leads her
collection "Portraits of Souls".
